108 Divya Desam
Divya Desam is a group of 108 Lord Maha Vishnu’s Temples. Out of this 105 located in India, One in Nepal, remaining two – Parama Padam and Thiruparkadal – are in the celestial world. In North India there are 9 Divya Desam, In South India there are 97 Divya Desams are located. Especially in Tamil Nadu, there are 84 Divya Desams are located, 2 Divya Desams are located in Andhra Pradesh and 11 Divya Desams are located in Kerala. Divya Desam is classified as Chola Nadu (40), Nadu Nadu (2), Thondai Nadu (22), Pandiya Nadu (18), Malai Nadu (13), Vada Nadu (11) and Celestials (2).
